The Pink Palace

K So me and my little sis moved into this "dump" for my last year of college. I was super excited bc its the houses last year too (it's very close to the U of A campus and is getting torn down for more campus parking) and they said we can do whatever we want. My head starts running wild with ideas, but with all four kids and mom in college of course we are on a budget! Almost everything is thrifted, borrowed, or garage sale! In my room I have two walls black and white stripes and the other two mint green. I got a bunch of old cheap frames and painted them different colors. I need to get more to cover the whole wall! My monogram I got off of Etsy and I LOVE it! My headboard is solid real wood from a garage sale and I painted it the same mint green. My lamp is from my room last year and I repainted the bottom black and white striped. Then I got fake flowers from Walmart and hot glued them to the lamp shade. Our kitchen is pink.. Just in case you couldn't tell and hints the name Pink Palace. We painted it ALL pink! My sisters room is also All pink and so is our living room furniture. Oh also our front door and mail box are pink...thanks to older sis for the paint job! It's safe to say that pink is our fav color;) here's some pics of the work in progress...
